THE HUMAN REALM

Also called the Living Realm, it is one of the three realms alongside the Sage and Heavenly Realms and it's almost identical to real life.

It's mainly inhabited by humans.

The gods split the universe into three worlds after the demons invaded the human race 5.67 billion years ago. Only through specific portals or gates can the Human Realm communicate with the other realms.

Important Locations

Gaia

Many significant events in TGOH take place on Earth. Due to Gaia's heart being moved in Renewal Earth, it was a dead planet during the Coming of the Almighty God.

The planet was later revived by Jin Mori after his awakening as the Supreme God Maitreya and while it no longer hosts Gaia's heart as its core, it can still be influenced by her. [1]

While the Earth's political map used to look identical to its real life counterpart, post-Ragnarok it started to look completely different.

The Earth was divided by 5 political powers:

The World Government, led by Park Mujin and later by Park Ilpyo; They govern over the biggest part of the world.
Balhae, led by Lee Sujin;

NEO NOX, led by Yoo Mira with Sang Mandeok as her advisor;

NOX, led by Han Daewi with Xiaochen as his advisor, later affiliated itself with New Korea.
New Korea, led by Jin Mori, in official alliance with NOX.

Until the foundation of New Korea, the organisations constantly kept each other in check.

These political powers were later merged into the World Government led by Park Ilpyo.

Gaia's Womb / Holy Land

Gaia's Womb, also known as India or the Sacred Place, is one of the most significant locations on Earth. It's located beneath COAX, right under the GOH Tournament Arena.

It is considered a great energy amplifier capable of killing or reviving Tathagata. [6]

The gods had made it their abode after killing Gaia and named it the "Divine Realm", but it can be assumed that they abandoned it after Ogre's Revolt, considering that the place was empty when Mori was born. [2]

It's the place where:

The Ancient God Gaia was murdered by the Gods of the First Heavenly Realm;
Jecheondaeseong was born, right out of Gaia's corpse;
The Taboo and the Borrowed Power System were made; [3]

Ungnyeo used to often rest to recover her power;
Mori was forced to devour Xuanzang alive;
The "mass cult suicide" happened (the deaths of Sang Mansuk and the NOX branch she belonged to);
Mori partially recovered his memories;
By serving as Tathagata's vessel, Park Mujin attained the status of a god.

COAX, South Korea

Located in Samsung-dong, Seoul, it hosted for years on end the "God of High School" competition in a secret place in the basement of Balhae Hall.

Mt. Baekdu, North Korea

A sealed Jecheondaeseong was laid to rest under Mt. Baekdu for 5,600,008,000 years.

Jin Taejin, who was on an infiltration mission to identify the source of the signal and possibly airlift it to South Korea after the army intercepted an unknown energy signature, later discovered him.

The Dragon King's Palace

The Dragon King's palace is where every weapon made out of the dragons' bones and their souls are hid and protected. The construct itself is made out of their bones and has a total of 18 columns, Yeoui formerly being one of them.

Ogre's dragon body was sealed under it together with her soul, as the dragons were too afraid of putting her soul in the weapon made out of her hip bone.

It used to be located deep under the water in the Human Realm thousands of years ago, but following Ryong's betrayal, the mountains and the sea were turned upside down. According to Mori, Ryong's betrayal may have happened at the same time as Xiaochen's Dragon Hunt. [5]

Renewal Earth, also known as The Promised Land , was created by Park Mujin in an attempt to create a strong world for the ideal humanity. It currently hosts Gaia's heart as its core and is inhabited by Generation X Humans.

With the help of Gaia, Generation X children grow at a much faster pace than normal.

It's a very technologically advanced planet and it's currently occupied by the "New World" government, led by Eve.

Interface

It's described as being similar to Artificial Intelligence. It gathers and shares the collective unconsciousness of Generation X humans. It can enable communication, save data and maintain security.
There are few in remote areas, but there are many more in cities.

Bureau of Medical Services

This institute has advanced medical technology which is able to scan and diagnose a body in seconds. It's capable of quick treatment, but intensive and effective treatment is only possible through provision of one's personal information. [4]

It also has a hidden room where Generation X humans were artificially cultivated with a 35% defection rate. It was originally destroyed, but was most likely rebuilt.

Central Tower

The most important institute of Renewal Earth. It's where most Generation X humans are gathered and where decisions regarding the planet and its citizens are taken.
The tower's summit is equipped with a planet-destroying weapon called "Divine Punishment".
