TIMELINE
Beginnings
- Ancient God Gaia creates Ogre as its Guardian. She is considered the apex of all creation and lives among the dinosaurs.

- The dinosaurs go extinct and are replaced by dragons. Ogre is now titled as the first Dragon King.

- Humans appear.

- Tathagata is born.
- Tathagata becomes the first human to ascend to godhood.

- Tathagata, Okhwang, Michael, Uriel, Zeus, Odin and Beelzebub appear and kill Gaia. Tathagata hears her dying words, a "prophecy". Subhuti, another ancient god, swears obedience in exchange for mercy.

- Xiaochen is born.
- Okhwang saves Xiaochen from being stoned, and she swears loyalty to him.

- Ogre fiercely fights against Tathagata, but is killed by her own kind, had her bones taken and her dead body sealed.

- Gaia's corpse decomposes and Wukong is created on it.

- Subhuti meets a baby/toddler (?) Wukong and trains him for 17 years after proving his worth by subjugating overnight the demons residing in a pit he was thrown in.

More than 5.67 billion years ago
- Tathagata asks Hephaestus to make him the sharpest sword, to which she requests 48,000 souls as ingredients. He later brings her what she asked for. She also receives the orders to make a sturdy club for Hercules and create Pandora.
- Wukong wants Hephaestus to make him the strongest armor. As he is not satisfied with barbadium, Hephaestus asks him to bring her something "alive" as an ingredient, but he refuses, passing her test, as no forced sacrifice could ever work on a tool used for protection.
- While working on Wukong's armorsuits, Tathagata tests Hephaestus' creation on her. The sword is named "The Blade of Tathagata".
- As Hephaestus is horribly wounded, she asks Wukong to throw her in the furnace, stating that she is the "final ingredient" of his armorsuits.

- Wukong visits the 201st Dragon King's palace as he searches for a weapon. The Yeoui made from Ogre's hip bone gets his attention and steals it from the palace.
5.67 billion years ago
- The Demon King's army invade the humans, which leads Tribe Leader Ungnyeo to ask for help from the gods and the system of Borrowed Power is formed at the cost of a very high price.

- After the war, she is given the title of "Madonna" and the position of a god. She falls in love with the god Hwanung and has a child with him, but he is executed for trying to help humanity by freeing them of the high cost. As a result, the Taboo is placed upon humanity out of fear for their potential.
- Ungnyeo is also called "The First Test Subject" and "Gaia's Representative". Adding this information to the fact that she looks strikingly similar to Gaia, that it's necessary to use Ungnyeo in order to make contact with her (while she's not even a Prophet) and that Tathagata had previously communicated with Gaia's soul before, it's highly possible that the gods experimented on her to achieve such effect.

- Dissatisfied with the cost that comes with borrowed power, a prominent human clan develops martial arts.
- In order to keep the balance between the 3 species, the gods split the world into the Human Realm, Sage Realm and Heavenly Realm. Okhwang stayed behind to supervise the humans and forms NOX.

- The 9 Demon Kings assemble. King Uma, Wukong and Garuda become sworn brothers.
- Wukong and King Uma become known for causing trouble.
- Wukong and the other Demon Kings wage the First Heavenly War.
- As the gods launched an all-out assault against King Uma, Wukong invaded the Heavenly Realm and fought against Hojosa which resulted in him getting imprisoned for 49 days in the Palgwaero.
- During these 49 days, Hojosa was betrayed by Okhwang and ravaged the Heavenly Realm before escaping to the Sage Realm.

- Due to Garuda's betrayal, King Uma lost the battle against Michael.

- The demons ultimately lose the war and Wukong gets imprisoned by Tathagata for 500 years, while King Uma has her real body sealed.

- Mihu loses his sister to starvation and Wukong's people greatly suffer the aftereffects of the war.

Journey to the West - 5.6 billion and 8000 years ago
- Wukong meets Xuanzang and gets released in order to serve as her bodyguard.

- As Subhuti is the one who swore allegiance as Tathagata's First Disciple in exchange for sparing Wukong's life, he is forced to change appearance.

- The 201th Dragon King asks Wukong to take his son, Ryong, on his travels.
- Ryong learns Xuanzang's martial arts.

- Sometime during the Journey, Deer and Rabbit become Tathagata's 2nd and 3rd Disciples by killing their kin. Wukong also severs the brotherhood between him and Uma after borrowing her Pacho Fan.

- Wukong and Xuanzang are trapped in the Gold & Silver Gourd Bottle where humans rescue them.

- Wukong tells Ryong to stay behind for he is too weak, but the real reason was that he wanted him to stay safe.

- Tathagata betrays them, forcing Wukong into a situation where he is asked of Xuanzang to eat her alive in order for him to survive.
- Devouring Xuanzang granted him immortality and power, killing Tathagata on the moon.
- Xuanzang reaches Nirvana.
- Satan somehow witnesses this event. (This should've been impossible, as Tathagata was killed in the Human Realm while Satan was in the Heavenly Realm).

- Weakened, Wukong shapeshifts into a baby, gets sealed in Energy Stone and sent to Earth under Mt. Baekdu by Subhuti and Okhwang.

- Ryong finds Xuanzang's bloodstained clothes and becomes Tathagata's 4th Disciple by slaughtering the dragons, but sparing his father.
- Xiaochen's dragon hunt happens at the same time.

???
- Pandora opened the box and, seeing the bad things coming out of it, made up her mind to destroy the gods with the box and gifts given to her.
- Okhwang experiments on humans, impregnating several women and mutating their children with Primordial Tam.

- Ultio R is born.

- Okhwang sees that unlike other experiments, R's mother is still alive. She escapes and runs away with the baby. In order to survive, R eats his mother alive and he is later taken back to Okhwang.
- This event is R's first memory.

- Okhwang gives up on the experiments and disposes of all the test subjects, but R survives.
- Okhwang splits the idea of Primordial Tam into Energy Stones, Tam and the 'Dante' clones.
- Sometime during this, Byron is created and becomes a Bishop.

- Sometime after, Wukong is replaced by a fake ruler (Mihu) by Bishop Byron. King Uma notices that Mihu is subservient to NOX and as a consequence, wages war against him, ruining the relationship between the two countries.

Witch-hunt (~600 years ago)
- A rumor that "You can live forever if you eat the corpses that come out of the house of God" goes around, which causes R to be on the run.
- R is taken in by Rhea in an act of kindness, but as a result she got burnt alive in front of his eyes under the accusations of being a witch. R later kills the people who executed her and continues being a runaway.

Creation of Renewal Taekwondo (196X, 36 years before the beginning of the story)
- 37 out of 38 North Korean spies who had infiltrated South Korea were shot dead. As they took great interest in North Korea's hand-to-hand combat power, the one captured alive, Lee Suhyeok, was pit against South Korean martial artists, which they all suffered a crushing defeat.
- Due to his capture, he was regarded as a traitor. As a consequence, his wife and child were sent to a coal mine.
- The government started to develop martial arts to counteract the Northen-style ITF Taekwondo.
- A few years later, the project was successful, as Jin Taejin successfully killed Lee Suhyeok. His last words were for his family in North Korea to be taken care of, suggesting there was a promise between him and the South Korean government.

- Sang Mansuk is born.

Operation Gilgamesh (34 years before the beginning of the story)
- An unknown special energy was detected at Mount Baekdu in North Korea, and the government assumed it would be a nuke. Therefore, they sent Jin Taejin and his squad into an infiltration mission, titled "Operation Gilgamesh", to identify the source and either bring it over to South Korea or destroy it. His squad comprised of about 20 soldiers.
- The source of the special energy was the sealed body of Jecheondaeseong, which had been recently discovered and was in the process of being dug up.
- Said body was guarded by a rather poorly made clone of his (perhaps because it was created by Subhuti out of Wukong's hair, not created by himself; but it was still strong enough to make Taejin put his life on the line to win), which engaged in combat with Jin Taejin.
- 500 US Soldiers had also infiltrated North Korea knowing of it, and extracted it.
- Choi Doha, one of the soldiers under Jin Taejin's command, revealed himself to be an US spy. He was killed by Park Iltae, who later died due to a fatal injury during their fight.
- After the clone lost to Jin Taejin, it entrusted Jecheondaeseong's sealed body to him before disappearing.
- Lee Geumdo, Lee Eundo, Joh Dokbae and Heyon Namgung had also died during this mission along with the other soldiers, leaving Jin Taejin as the only survivor.
- All members of Operation Gilgamesh were recorded that they had defected to North Korea due to pressure from the US who had lost all 500 of their units.

Jin Taejin vs THE SIX (17 years before the beginning of the story, December 12th 19XX)
- Sometime before the fight, Park Mubong was assigned as part of THE SIX at 18 years of age.
- Kim Ungnyeo is aware of the fact that Jecheondaeseong is in Park Taejin's possession. Under the guise of wanting to capture Jin Taejin for being wanted by the government, she deployed THE SIX in order to be in possession of Jecheondaeseong, hoping to use him as a tool to free humanity from the Taboo.
- During the fight, Jin Taejin leaves an 'X' shaped scar on Park Mubong's forehead and cuts off Nah Bongchim's arm.

- Jin Taejin was challenged by Kim Ungnyeo's Borrowed Power, and due to their intense fight and the huge amount of energy spent, it was enough for Wukong's seal to become undone and cause an explosion that wiped 10% of South Korea off the map. This marked the end of the fight.
- Jin Taejin named him Jin Mori and celebrated his release as his first birthday.
- According to Bishop Byron, unsealing him meant unleashing a vicious cycle that would last thousands of years.

- Sang Mansuk happens to expose a serial killer, revealing to Park Mujin that she can read minds. It's a very distressing ability, making her lose all faith in humanity due to uncontrollably hearing every human's twisted thoughts.
- Park Mujin, Sang Mansuk and Sang Mandeok grow closer, regularly hanging out. However, as Sang Mansuk and Park Mujin fall in love while Sang Mandeok's illness deteriorates, he starts harboring jealousy towards them.
- Sang Mansuk shares the power of the prophet with Sang Mandeok, making him a false prophet and healing him. He is revered by the cult as the true prophet and, as a result, summons Beelzebub.
- The bishops of NOX warn Park Mujin that he awakened an obstacle that will plunge the world into misery for the next thousand years, reffering to Jecheondaeseong waking up during the fight between Jin Taejin and THE SIX.
- Beelzebub hopes to consume Sang Mansuk, the true prophet, to gain power before he confronts Satan. The entire cult dies as a result. Park Mujin tries to fight him off.

- Yoo Mira's father dies.

- As Lee Sujin's mother was working in a North Korean coal mine, she sneaked in to bring her mother food. However, the mine entrance was buried. They had oxygen and food that would only last for a few days.
- It was soon revealed that the whole incident happened due to a South Korean special forces unit who raided the mine and killed 200 people there.

- After a few days, Park Panseok and Mah Dongcheol couldn't stand the hunger and thirst and chose to die by not breathing in oxygen through the hose. They were buried, but the stench of rotten corpses filled the mine.

- The mine itself started to collapse, and so Jo Jeongdeok and Sujin's mother, Lee Jeongmin, sacrificed themselves to help Sujin survive. She was ultimately saved by Sim Bongsa as the sole survivor of the coal mines, but was recruited into the North Korean army nonetheless.
- Once out of the mines, Lee Sujin was about to be killed by Ryu for being a witness, but Sim Bongsa saved her and sent her away with his borrowed power. In an attempt to stall Ryu, Sim Bongsa's sight was taken away.

- Park Ilpyo is taken in by his granduncle after his father died and his mother abandoned him. There, he was treated like an outsider, but befriends his cousins, Park Seungah and Park Seungyeon.

- He is later met with Jin Taejin, with a sleeping young Mori on his back. Taejin gave him his grandfather, Park Iltae, 's information on the Ssamsu Taekkyeon he developed.

- As a child, Mori once had an outburst of power he couldn't control, which resulted in accidentally destroying the neighbourhood stable. He started being scared and aware that something is 'wrong' with him, but was quickly calmed down by Taejin, who comforted him by saying that it doesn't matter whether he's different or not, and should just live the way he wants to.
- This is one of the scenes that confirm that Mori knew in the back of his mind that there was something odd with him from the start of the series, but together with his constant nostalgia by acting uncannily similar to Tang Xuanzang despite not remembering why he feels as such, didn't give much thought to it.

11 years before the beginning of the story
- A 6 year old Mori expressed the desire to fit in with the others and go to school, but changed his mind when he found out that would mean he would need to be separated from Taejin because of his status as a wanted man. However, Taejin insisted that he should go to school.

- At Mori's request, he and Taejin took a photo for his 6th anniversary, with the condition of keeping it hidden from others.

- Since he lived by himself since then with the purpose of going to school at Taejin's request, he has done very well in his studies, to the point of being a top student.
- However, he wasn't a very sociable person, making no connections until 11 years later when he would meet Daewi and Mira.

4 years before the beginning of the story
- Jeon Jugok, Park Seungah, Park Seungyeon, Park Ilpyo and Jegal Taek participate in a martial arts competition. Jeon Jugok loses against Ilpyo, while Jegal permanently disables Park Seungyeon's leg. NOTES
-
Calculations indicate that the story's beginning year is somewhere between 2000 and 2005. Mori awakens from the energy stone sometime between 1983 and 1988.
-
The time frame for Post-Ragnarok would be between 2017 and 2022 (the conclusion of it would fall between 2018 and 2023 since the 6th part of the story spans about a year), and the time frame for the epilogue would be between 2035 and 2040.
-
Of course, not everything matches this timeframe, considering multiple elements within the first half of the story that, in real life, appeared much later than 2005.
