Appearance
180cm tall, Han Daewi has a muscular build. His black eyes give off the impression of always being sleepy, and his dark brown (sometimes illustrated as black) hair is short and spiky. He is most often seen wearing his school uniform, his shirt being a little unbuttoned.
After he lost his right eye to The King, he covered it with bandages until his death and revival as the new Jade Emperor, his right iris now having an omega symbol inscriptioned on it.
After Ragnarok, he's visibly more mature, now presenting a short goatee. He still covers his right eye despite it being intact.
In his robes' offense mode, his hair changes to The King's signature orange front hair strands.

Personality
Han Daewi, a reserved student, maintained a quiet demeanor. His closest friend battled leukemia, a condition that landed him in the hospital. In their past, they were known as Mad Cow and dominated the Gangnam area together. However, after his friend fell ill, Daewi committed himself to supporting him faithfully, financing his friend's hospital bills through diligent part-time work.
Despite enduring taunts and even having ramen spilled on his attire by bullies, Daewi shrugged off these incidents with a laugh. Yet, when his hard-earned money for his friend's treatment was callously insulted and taken away, his temper flared instantly. Faced with insufficient funds for his friend's care, he resolved to enter the G.O.H. competition, determined to secure the prize money needed for his friend's leukemia treatment.
Among the trio of main characters, he stood out as the one in dire need of victory, capturing the hearts of fans with his unwavering loyalty and earnest dedication to his friends, which actually borders on obsession. He would do absolutely anything for them, even sacrificing his own life for them and spending decades searching and trying to bring them back by his side. However, he tends to not care about anyone else outside his inner circle, even if they happen to dedicate their lives to him, coming off as a very cruel person. He's devoid of any kind of self love and unfit to be a leader due to his obsessive loyalty towards his loved ones.
Relationships
"When you held out your hand to me... When I clasped your hand then, my whole world changed, and that's what kept me alive this whole time... So I'm the one who should be thanking you..."
Han Daewi's best friend. He deeply cares for and would do anything for Mori, being incredibly close and supportive of one another.
After stopping a petty robbery before the GOH tournament and later properly introducing himself, Mori and Daewi quickly grew close, but Daewi was afraid to befriend him who was similar to Seungtae in his eyes, fearing that he would end up the same. After Mori defeated Daewi in the finals, he asked: "We're friends now, right?" while offering him his hand. Taking it marked Daewi's turning point in life, who felt that his whole world changed right then and there.
Daewi is very loyal and affectionate towards Mori, not only risking his life to assist him in rescuing his grandfather and losing his right eye in the process, but also relentlessly searching for him for 17 years when he was assumed dead by everyone. He thinks fondly of Mori, believing that he still lives because of him.
Mori holds Daewi in high regard, thinking of him as the toughest person he knows and deciding to trust him even when he doubted his mental wellbeing. They often advise each other and Daewi was the one who helped Mori most to rediscover his lost power through refining his skills.
However, Mori sometimes terrifies Daewi, especially when he's upset, due to his unpredictable nature which enables him to destroy, kill or cause chaos on a whim.
In the final fight against Mujin, he took Mujin's killing blow which was aimed at Mori, much to his dismay. Later, him and Mira stopped Mori from forsaking his own life.
He has a deep understanding of Mori. In the epilogue, Daewi understood he won't see him, who hesitated to say it outright, ever again. Knowing that despite being all powerful, Mori wouldn't make exceptions in the system, him and Mira always kept quiet about issues that could've been easily fixed by him. Aware of this, Mori is grateful and smiled for them for the last time before departing.
- Daewi to Mori, chapter 339
"I'm going to save Mira Yoo. No matter what it takes."
Han Daewi's wife and close friend. He deeply cares and would do anything for her. His affection is deep enough for him to prefer dying by her hand than killing her when she was under the Body of the JE's confusion.
They were friends at first, but romantic feelings blossomed in time. Yoo Mira's earnest wish to keep Daewi safe after he lost his right eye to the King soon turned into desperation when Midori's future sight predicted his death and motivated her to become stronger and stronger. However, due to the mission they were given during Ragnarok which would bring Mori back, he stayed behind so Mira could accomplish it and, as a result, died by the hands of NOX Priests.
In despair, Mira wanted power at any cost and resented the whole situation, accepting Ultio R's offer of accepting strength, The Body of the Jade Emperor, and even reviving Daewi. Meanwhile, Daewi was revived by The King at the cost of his own life and received the Mind of the Jade Emperor.
This turn of events set them further apart- The Body and the Mind had a natural inclination to take possession of the other. The Mind without the Body would slowly destroy Daewi's human body, while the Body without the Mind would mess up and corrupt Mira's human mind. Manipulated by Sang Mandeok who took notice of her confusion, he set the both of them against one another. While Mira would be set on killing him in order to get the Mind, Daewi refused to properly fight her, hoping to get her on his side once again. This went on for 17 years.
Daewi acknowledged that she should be stopped, but he couldn't help but rather let himself get killed instead, something that was observed by multiple people, such as Xiaochen, Jin Mori and Lee Sujin. While this caused Lee Sujin to distrust Daewi and not ally with him until Mori was back, Jin Mori, pressed by other matters at the time, decided to trust Daewi to make the right decisions. On such occassions, he was saved both times by Xiaochen, the second time sacrificing herself to do so. As a result of her sacrifice, Daewi painfully and bitterly resolved himself to kill her. The fight resulted in her finally freeing herself from her confusion.
After Park Mujin became Tathagata's vessel and awakened as the Supreme God, Mira gave the Body of the Jade Emperor to Daewi in order to save him, after which they split again. Daewi searched for her days on end, and when he found her, he asked for her hand in marriage.
In the epilogue, they adopted several orphans. They are currently confronting every struggle that comes their way together.

Quotes
"If this operation fails... We'll all die anyway. Just focus on getting to the Central Control Room. Go and take over Noa. [...] I won't die. Never."
"No one... No one can't pass... If I let you through... They'll be in danger. And I can't... Bring Mori here. And... I have to protect her. [...] I have never, not even once, considered death while I'm fighting. I'm going to live. I'm going to live... And protect Mira."
"He wasn't 'destroyed'. He died. And he's not a 'clone'... He's my friend..."
"17 years. That's how long it took to find you. Just 17 years. All it took was 17 years. Whether it took 50 years or 70, I was going to keep looking for you. Since it only took this long... I should consider myself lucky. For now, let me smile."
"Before I met Seungtae, there was no me in my life for 17 years... You and Mori filled the other 17 years of my life. What he said that day... filled my empty heart. And what you said got me through all this time... So let's live. Whether we sink or swim, let's watch the end together."

The one who taught him Kyokushin Karate was bitter about his loss against a Renewal Taekwondo user and told Daewi to kill whoever uses it. However, Daewi couldn't care less. [1]
However, his friend would later be diagnosed with leukemia, and, to financially help his sister who could not pay the hospital bills by herself, he took on several part-time jobs, such as being a delivary-man or a cashier, and only ate takeout ramen. [2]
He accepts the invitation from Commissioner Q to participate in The God of High School competition, wishing to cure his friend.

Weapons
-
Robe of the Sage (formerly): The Jade Emperor's robe boasts exceptional physical resilience, passed down from its predecessor. Although devoid of special functionalities, it exhibits immense durability, remaining unscathed by the majority of attacks. The only armor surpassing it is the Jecheondaeseong's Dragon Armorsuits. Han Daewi can wear it instantly at will, regardless of his location. While initially designed to defend against enemy assaults, its true purpose extends to serving as a buffer against one's own power.
-
Xiaochen's Reform: It is assumed to resemble the Dragon Armosuits' transformation (speed mode & power mode), and according to Kang Manseok, it operates on the principle of forsaking defense to focus entirely on offense. [5] The King himself never employed it. Upon its debut, he swiftly overwhelmed Yoo Mira.
-
It was given away to become part of Jin Mori's Samsara.
-
-
Cane of the Sage (formerly): Capable of teleportation, he used it for a short time, mainly to summon 666:Satan to the battlefield. It was given away to become part of Jin Mori's Samsara.
-
Deer's Book (formerly): The Book serves as a compendium containing knowledge about various weapons, armors, curses, and other mystical phenomena. It possesses information on items like the Robe of the Sage and the Dragon Armorsuits.
-
Moreover, it bestowed Deer with an array of magical abilities and the capability to 'Mark' items, allowing him eventual control over them without depriving the original owner, exemplified by Yeoui. However, utilizing this ability in combat would significantly shorten the user's lifespan.
-
With its magical prowess, the Book can subject a target to immense temperature and pressure, capable of petrifying and shattering objects like the Dragon Armorsuits.
-
It possesses the power to resurrect its master through a Blood Oath, although the extent of this ability's granting of lives remains uncertain.
-
It can break curses very easily. [6]
-
The Book appears to require a loyalty test from its holder, though the specifics of this test remain undisclosed, as Daewi seemingly passed it effortlessly.
-
It was given away to become part of Jin Mori's Samsara.
-
Borrowed Power: Haetae (formerly)
-
Water Shield: Han Dae-Wi can conjure a protective barrier of water around himself, capable of withstanding powerful attacks.
-
Healing: Albeit minimal, Haetae can heal people, lift their fatigue and reducing their pain by licking them.
-
Beam: Haetae is capable of shooting destructive beams of light from its mouth with enough power to stun a planet-sized god.
-
Direct Contract: Han Daewi successfully established a direct contract, allowing Haetae to become stronger.
It sacrificed itself to fully heal Yoo Mira and Han Daewi from severe damage that resulted in organ failure.
Mind of the Jade Emperor | The Sage's Wisdom (formerly)
-
The King's Wisdom was shifted to his blinded right eye, reviving a dead Han Daewi and providing access to the Jade Emperor's array of divine abilities. Odin warned that utilizing the Wisdom of the Sage without first acquiring the Body of the Jade Emperor would only affect his lifespan. [3] A human body cannot properly withstand the Wisdom.
-
Sustaining an injury to his eye may temporarily impede his ability to wield the Wisdom's powers. However, Han Daewi's remark "for the time being" suggests that unless the opponent is as formidable as him or stronger, they cannot inflict permanent damage. His eye is not ordinary, believed to embody the essence of the Jade Emperor.
-
Creation of All Things: Han Daewi is capable of creating something out of nothing, shown when regenerating missing limbs and the surrounding clothing.
-
Healing: He is capable of formidable healing, however he is incapable of curing illnesses such as cancer. [4]
-
Natural Forces: He possesses the capability to manipulate the four fundamental forces governing the world. Similar to his predecessor, The King, Han Daewi can harness these forces to imbue himself with various powers present in the world, including but not limited to inertia, friction, acceleration, and attraction. However, due to his lack of experience and the absence of the King's Body, his right eye often bled heavily from overexertion when utilizing this skill. As he matured, he honed his mastery of fundamental force manipulation, enabling him to apply it to small objects around him and employ it as a long-range attack.
-
Gravity: The King's signature ability lies in the manipulation of gravity for diverse purposes. This was the inaugural skill Han Dae-Wi wielded upon acquiring The King's power. Employing it against Zeus, Angels, Nephilims, and the Morning Crows, he intensified the gravitational force around him and Xiaochen by x100, compelling nearby gods and disciples to kneel. Furthermore, Han Daewi showcased The King's spatial manipulation capability, redirecting the effects of attacks to alternate locations. He also defensively employs Gravity Manipulation, redirecting assaults and even his own body, albeit sustaining damage in the process, to evade threats.
-
Strong Force: Han Daewi harnesses the force that binds protons and neutrons within atomic nuclei, allowing him to replicate the process of nuclear fusion found within stars for diverse applications. This ability manifests as a miniature sun, akin to the power exhibited by the former Jade Emperor—an ability reminiscent of the Big Bang.
-
Weak Force: By harnessing the force responsible for particle decay, Han Daewi possesses the ability to obliterate any object obstructing his path.
-
Inertia: Can freely control inertia, mainly used to stop objects in his path.
-
Attraction & Repulsion
-
It was given away to be part of Jin Mori's Nirvana.
Body of the Jade Emperor (formerly)
-
Increased Physical Ability: He gained the immense physical strength of The King. It grants immunity to the Wisdom's Manipulation of Natural Forces, as the former Jade Emperor utilized his physical prowess to mitigate the recoil damage from the use of the four natural forces.
It was received from Yoo Mira in order to save his life and become a complete Jade Emperor, however it was given away to be part of Jin Mori's Nirvana.
