THE SIX

"THE SIX. Human Cultural Assets appointed by the World President. The six most powerful people on the planet selected based on strength alone, regardless of vocation or social standing. They are currently spread out all over the place, and are so powerful that respective to where they reside, an independent state of their own is established."

                         - about THE SIX post Ragnarok, chapter 334

The Six is a group of Human Cultural Assets founded by Kim Ungnyeo. They each are masters of their own area of expertise, and were initially introduced as being appointed by the South Korean President. Their ranks were divided by the pension the government offered them. Every 10 years, they would fight for supremacy, and the winner would be designated as the "Special Human Cultural Asset", spot which was left vacant for 17 years. [1]

Post Ragnarok, they are appointed by the World President from all over the world. [2]

17 years before the beginning of the story, in 19XX, THE SIX engaged in combat with Jin Taejin to retrieve Jecheondaeseong, who was in Jin Taejin's possession, in order to use him to break the Taboo [3], but it was disguised as a mission to capture Jin Taejin, as he was the only survivor out of 500 who infiltrated North Korea [1]. Ultimately, they failed, losing the battle due to the explosion caused by Jecheondaeseong's awakening.
