Appearance

She has long black hair with green accents. She has magenta colored skin and her large eyes are a gradient deep purple to white.

She is very short in stature (maybe around 130 cm?), but she makes up for it with her long horns and habit of standing on her toes. She also has long fingers and black, pointed nails. Two dots can be seen below her eyes.

She's seen wearing a purple bodysuit that covers her entire body.

Her dragon body is gigantic, even being able to cover Junior's dragon body, and presents magenta, gray and white scales.

Personality

Ogre is quite intimidating and doesn't show much emotion. She is prideful as the apex of all creation of her time, even mentioning during her fight against Mori that she only summoned her Sanctuary that separates them from the outside world just to show off her true power. [1]

She detests betrayal most of all and finds it disgusting, since she had been betrayed herself before. [2] It is one of the reasons why she was hostile against Jin Mori once she found out he had devoured one of Gaia's Prophets alive despite being created by Gaia.

She seems to enjoy fighting, being seen smiling during her intense fight with Mori. After taking an interest in his combat ability, she became his weapon, hoping to be used well.

Mori sought her out to use as a weapon in his conflict with Park Mujin. He was in awe of her abilities and picked them up, studying every move she made.

Ogre recognised Mori as one of Gaia's creations and was simply trialing him at first, until she found out that he had devoured Gaia's blood. Considering this as betrayal, something she finds utterly disgusting, she took a hostile attitude towards him.

However, during their fight, Ogre takes an interest in Mori's combat genius and even gives him advice on improving his techniques. Once she witnessed Mori's newest technique, Jichuk, she decided to satisfy her curiosity and agreed to being Mori's Yeouiju in order to witness Jichuk's completion.

She thought it was beautiful that Jichuk could only be finished with Mira and Daewi's assistance, so she expressed her gratitude for the entertainment by sacrificing herself to eliminate one of the Blue Giants that threatened the Solar System.

Created by Gaia, Ogre served as her first Guardian. In Subhuti's flashback, she was shown to be in a good relationship with her.

She failed to protect her when the Gods invaded, so she started a war against them to avenge her death. She finds betraying Gaia or her descendants a despicable act.

Background

Ogre was created by Gaia and was the first Guardian. She lived among dinosaurs and did not do anything in particular, the Earth being at peace. She was known for being the Apex of all creation, for her strength was unparalleled. She survived the meteorite that caused the dinosaurs' extinction, and lived long enough to see humanity's creation and evolution, and her dragon race whom she commanded also became larger in population.

"They came from the sky one day..."

The Gods invaded and killed Gaia, who was opposing them. Furious, Ogre waged war against the gods, a war that was too costly for both the gods and her own race. The King, at Xiaochen's suggestion, promised the dragons safety in exchange for Ogre's death. And so, she was killed and sealed after the dragons stabbed her in the back. They created a Yeoui out of her hip bone, but they were too afraid to give it her soul; as a result, they left it soulless and turned it into one of the columns that supported their palace.

She was inactive until Park Mujin unintentionally opened the seal on her body while destroying Earth. Over time, she was come to be considered by her race as the most vicious and evil dragon in history.

The weapon made out of her hip bone, Yeoui, is Mori's signature weapon.

Abilities & Powers

She has a keen sense of smell, being able to recognize Mori as one of Gaia's creations, one of her kin, just by his scent.

She has immense strength, easily overpowering Mori only as a spirit [3] and dealing a heavy blow to Tathagata during her lifetime. [2]

She is highly skilled in using all of the Dragon Kings' Yeouis, and her attack style is a very complicated one that's considered unfair.

She can command her deceased body to become a Sanctuary that cuts off the space she and her opponents are in from the outside world. Her barrier is so strong it can oppose Mujin's.

Trivia

It is likely that she was unnamed and was just called "Ryong" (korean for "dragon", 룡), and only named "Ogre" posthumously by the other dragons.
- This appears to be very likely, given that dragons had an antagonistic view of her and ogres are described as being large, strong, hideous, and wicked monsters.
- In reality, Ogre has never referred to herself as "Ogre". She simply called herself "Ryong".
