Appearance

Due to him being a clone of Jin Mori, he has an identical resemblance to him: He presents black eyes with bright gold pupils which create crosses that extend all the way to the irises' edges whenever he's irritated or excited, and dark brown hair (sometimes illustrated as black and purple).

For a short period of time, he wears Jin Mori’s (Dan Ahan’s at the time) sleeping mask after defeating her in a fight. His outfit is a blue/brown jacket under his brown blazer with a white top, wearing black pants and black slip-on shoes as well. After his defeat against Jin Mori, he trained himself intensely and gained new scars(most notably on his forehead) that differentiates him from the original, his hair changing to white with blue highlights after hitting himself with Geundoowun. His eyes now sport a fiery red with his golden pupils after this transformation.

Jung Mori appears to be more reserved and cold towards other people, but it also very perceptive, quickly catching on to Dan Mori's act of playing the fool. [1]

When it was revealed that he is not Jin Mori, but rather a clone of a clone (Hui Mori), an insecurity of having no individuality was created. This revelation led to him staying with NEO NOX. During his time there, his insecurities pushed him to further differentiate from Mori by gaining new scars, different from his. He gained an inferiority complex towards him, wishing to defeat him at least once to be content with himself.

He succeeds in discarding his thoughts of being just a "fake" for which every ten steps he takes, the original takes a hundred, willing to take his own path rather than just following Jin Mori's shadow.

In his initial encounter with Mori Jin (then Mori Dan), there was a sense of unease surrounding him, leading to a defensive stance regarding his identity.

Ever since Mori Jung's true nature as a clone came out, he has regarded Dan Mori as a superior existence, fostering an inferiority complex within himself. Even after Dan Mori recognized him as an individual, it took Jung Mori time to digest this revelation, struggling with the notion that he couldn't "reach" Dan Mori as he desired.

Background

“The only successful test subject out of all those samples. You’re the one, Jung Mori.”

He was created by Sang Mandeok in an attempt to replicate Jin Mori's power through the genes of Hui Mori and the clone information of Dante. Being the single successful one out of the batch, he released him into the outside world.

Awakened with no memories, Jung Mori searches around to find purpose in his life, to which he believed that he was Jin Mori, deemed the worst person in existence. As he roams aimlessly, fate leads him to Apricot High School, where he encounters Dan Ahan and Dan Mori. Engaging in skirmishes with some students, Jung's journey takes a pivotal turn when he decides to participate in the G.O.H. tournament.

Abilities & Powers

Martial Arts

Jung Mori uses two martial arts styles.

Renewal Taekwondo: It focuses on strong kicks that are mostly linear. Taught to him by Park Ilpyo, who had full knowledge of it.
Bongchim Nah Needle Arts: He only knows 1 technique of it.
- Jeahbongchim: This technique allows Jung Mori to remove naturally placed physical limits from his body, essentially multiplying his power.
  - Rebound is an after effect of this technique which puts him in excruciating pain and at risk of dying.

Weapons

Fragment of Yeoui (formerly): The Ancient Dragon Ogre's hipbone, formerly used as a measuring pillar in the Dragon King's palace. It was absorbed by Dan Mori's half of Yeoui.
- Size Alteration: Jung Mori could alter its size as he pleased.
Geundoowun (formerly): A sentient cloud Jung Mori could summon from anywhere, originally owned by Jin Mori. It was later taken back by Jin Mori after defeating him and reteaching Geundoowun obedience and loyalty.
- Sentience: Can choose its own master and responds to their summons.
- Weather control: Can manifest itself as a mist or as the wind.
- Thunder: Responds to the command "Strike". If Mori wills, Geundoowun can strike infinitely. Using thunder at low voltage while manifesting itself as a mist can be used to sense everything in the area.
7th Master Avidyā (formerly): Master of the 7th Heavenly Realm, it originally swore obedience to Jin Mori after its defeat. The 7th chose to serve Jung Mori after Jin Mori lost his divine power and was later reclaimed by him after defeating Jung.
- Form Alteration: It can freely change its shape.
- Sentience: It answers to Mori as his owner and is able to take decisions on its own.
- Multiplication and regeneration: It can split itself into several smaller parts of itself as long as the chunks are big enough to regenerate and put themselves back together.

Trivia

He fought against Sujin Lee and won in an off-screen battle, likely due to the ownership of the 7th Owner. [2]
Like Jin Mori(Dan Mori) and Hui Mori, his name is based off of a korean traditional rhythm, his being jungmori.
In the epilogue, he is seen climbing snowy mountains. [3]
